Nothing gets me more excited than reminiscing about my childhood cartoons! That is why I LOVE this first birthday party that Donyelle planned for her youngest son. FLINSTONES!!! Not only is this a blast from the past, but it isn’t a theme you see too often. Plus, I am all about having kids parties that the parents can enjoy, also. I am sure all the adults loved thinking back on their yaba-daba-doo days! Keep reading to see more about this Flinstone’s Birthday Party!
Is there a particular reason you chose this theme?
I really liked the idea of tying his first birthday in with Bam Bam and Pebbles. It’s not a popular theme.
Did you have any challenges when choosing elements of your party?
The decor was the hardest part. Flintstones isn’t a popular theme, so I couldn’t find anything in the stores to match the theme.
Where did you end up purchasing items for this party?
We ordered the poster from Vistaprint.
Dollar Tree had supplies for the centerpieces and other decor.
A whole lot of DIY!
After the party was all set up and ready, what was your favorite element?
The poster behind the sweets table was my favorite element! We still have it hanging up a month later lol.
What about the party did guests compliment the most?
The kids made the Flintstone cars out of Toilet paper rolls and popsicle sticks!
Guests thought the arts and crafts were very creative.
Now that the party is over, is there anything you wish you had done differently?
No! It turned out wayyyy better than I expected!
What was the birthday boy’s favorite part?
The fruity pebbles!
Like I said, I just love everything about this!
